This Thursday night, I will attend a special benefit spotlighting the work of The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation at the Mitchell Gold Bob Williams Atlanta showroom in Buckhead, won’t you join me?
The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation is the world’s first foundation dedicated to raising awareness of the long-term, damaging effects of bullying, and funding those doing real-world work to stop it.We’ve all seen it, and some of us have actually done something about it. Bullying is no longer child’s play, it extends across age, color, sexual orientation, and creed. We see senseless acts of violence on the news against adults and children across our nation on a daily basis. It doesn’t make sense.
I’m sure Thursday’s event will further open my eyes to a phenomena I wish never existed, but I’m sure I will also learn the tools I need for myself and my children to support the anti-bullying movement and to better support those who need another voice to simply STANDUP for them.
