Last week’s getaway to Sarasota was just what I needed to refresh and reboot. Before finally heading to bed I checked my inbox and was excited to see 2 heavy packages; one contained fabric samples the other was a copy of Monarch Magazine‘s Spring 2012 issue.

I carefully flipped through this generously-sized magazine, a whopping 10″ x 13″, 97 page publication chocked full of the latest in celebrity news and various articles covering lifestyle and  finance.

I’d received an email from a Monarch rep that I had been featured, but didn’t expect this…

Yes, a full page of just moi, yours truly! Remember what I said about the page size? I was overwhelmed with humility. Most people who do good work, EXPECT to be recognized. I, however, feel just as excited about each feature as if it was my first.

Their description of my business and blog was spot on and I felt they definitely did their research! There were two other designers featured as well, celebrity interior designer Alicia LaMar and “The Renaissance Man” himself. H. Alex Sanchez…in good company, huh?
