Last night design professionals and enthusiasts alike gathered at Switch Modern to hear photostylist and producer Annette Joseph, discuss how her travels to Italy influences her design aesthetic.
I’m always intrigued when creatives speak on how their lifestyle and environment translates into their work. In regard to Annette’s work as a photostylist, she has to carefully balance the two design sensibilities since her work is primarily for an American-based audience.
Yet in her private residences, both in Atlanta and Italy, her love for Tuscany is evident but never themey or overly contrived. What you see is a reflection of who she is, her work, and her determination to live with what she loves. I’ve got much respect for designers who practice what they preach![divider]

Thanks for Switch Modern for hosting awesome design events and Liz Lapidus PR for keeping me in the know!
