Beyond the Blueprint is a curated journal where legacy, lifestyle, and intentional design converge.
Here, I share stories from the heart of my home and the homes I create—faith-filled reflections, family rhythms, wellness practices, and design inspiration rooted in grace and purpose.
From motherhood and marriage to the sidelines of Friday night lights, each entry offers a glimpse into the layered life I live—and the brands, spaces, and values that support it.
Whether you're here to be inspired, encouraged, or aligned, welcome. This is life beyond the blueprint
I like the dimensions in #1 but the furniture in #2 and 3. I'm one of those strange people who really likes living rooms and kitchens separate but I'm forced to deal with this setup in my townhome. When considering to put traditional living room furniture in a kitchen i.e. upholstered chairs), it seems like leather works best as it doesn't attract dust and hair like other fabrics (and no one wants that in their kitchen).
OK, that was a mouthful….
Thanks for your comment. Leather is great and there are even attractive vinyls (great for kids) some are even embossed with animal prints if that's your taste. Forsyth Fabrics here in Atlanta has an awesome selection.
Love #3. It looks super homey and comfortable. I wish I could knock out a wall in my house and have the two spaces become one. Formal dining rooms are real outdated for us as we're a young couple that aren't doing much formal entertaining. We end up eating most nights in front of the tv! This would be a much better alternative.
Love, Love, Love all of these pictures!! How inspirational. I want to have a little fireplace in my kitchen/dining room now too! Thanks for sharing such great pics.
Love these spaces!
