It appears that I may be getting closer to a project reveal. I’ve been working steadily on Brooke and Cameron’s shared nursery and have pretty much completed “Cameron’s Corner.” What’s mainly missing from Brooke’s side of the room is artwork and a final decision on a crib mobile. I’ve installed a beautiful paper flower feature above the crib, thanks to my talented friend Dayle Bennett. After seeing her paper flowers display in West Elm, I had to have a few of my own.

I later found this image on Pinterest that made my heart skip a beat.

Can you tell I’m thrilled to finally have another girl?

I could easily get carried away with all the ruffles and frills so I focused first on Cameron’s. My desire was to make EVERYTHING accessible to him and to prevent him from bothering the older kids’ stuff. Here’s the inspiration for Cameron’s Corner. Design within (his) reach.

And here’s a photo taken one Sunday morning. Thank goodness and he appears to be very happy with the progress.

It’s pretty ironic that the older kids now like to hang out in his room. Me, too!

Up next, artwork!! Stay tuned.
