Tomorrow marks my husband’s 40th birthday! This photo of  him is one of my favorites because it is so very telling about the kind of person he is! Fun-loving, compassionate, self-less, loves his kids, and fashionable (thanks to me)! Each special occasion, I make it an opportunity to integrate something new into his wardrobe. This past Christmas he received a bevy of bowties in various colors and patterns. As I was planning his next gift, I came across Atlanta’s menswear boutique Res Ipsa. They’ve got some pretty intriguing pieces including these rug loafers. Yes, you heard it right. Rug loafers.

The same woman who’d buy a rug pillow for a room would be the same woman who’d would buy her man a pair of hand-crafted Turkish rug loafers.

Truth be told, the reason why Chris will always be on trend is not because of my flawless sense of style, it’s because being a kind, respectable, God-fearing and loving person never goes out of style.
