Last week I had the great pleasure of visiting Steve McKenzie’s, a home interior lifestyle brand in Atlanta’s Midtown West District. It was on twitter that I first learned of this latest treasure trove in home decor; but this was not my first encounter with the man himself. I met the Steve almost three years ago when he hosted Eddie Ross and his Atlanta Framing Party at Larson-Juhl.

Steve is just as hospitable now as he was when I met him during his 20-year run as Larson-Juhl’s CEO, but there is also a new found excitement in his eyes. His latest and most exciting journey now includes his lovely wife Jill (shown left) and his ever-present love of fine living.

I received a personal tour of the store from retail’s newest power couple and fell in love with their trending range of home decor options.

Steve McKenzie’s takes pride as the resource in the southeast for Grange Furniture Inc, a French furniture maker since 1904. They also carry brands such as The Old World Company, 2nd Story Wood, as well as Steve McKenzie’s own line of home interior fabrics, upholstery, and furniture line.
