Where Antiques, Design, and Italian Culture Come Together

In just a few days, I’ll be heading to Parma, Italy, for a truly extraordinary event—Mercanteinfiera, the oldest and largest trade show in Europe dedicated to antiques and modern collectibles. Taking place from March 8-16, 2025, this iconic exhibition is a must-visit for antique lovers, collectors, designers, and curious explorers alike. I’m honored to be attending as a guest of the show, helping to introduce more international buyers, dealers, architects, and designers to this one-of-a-kind experience.

What Makes Mercanteinfiera So Special?

Imagine strolling through endless aisles of exquisite antiques, rare collectibles, vintage furniture, and timeless decorative pieces—all curated by top dealers from across Europe. That’s Mercanteinfiera. Held twice a year, this prestigious event brings together thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world, creating a dynamic marketplace where history meets design.

From 17th-century paintings to mid-century modern treasures, delicate porcelain to bold Art Deco pieces, there’s something for every taste and style. Whether you’re an established collector, an interior designer looking for inspiration, or simply an admirer of craftsmanship, this fair offers a treasure trove of discoveries.

Why Parma? A City of Art, History, and Flavor

While Mercanteinfiera is the main event, Parma itself is a destination worth savoring. This charming Italian city is known not only for its rich history and stunning architecture but also for its legendary cuisine. After a day of antiquing, I plan to immerse myself in Parma’s world-famous culinary scene, indulging in:

  • Parmigiano Reggiano – The king of cheeses, aged to perfection
  • Prosciutto di Parma – Delicately cured, melt-in-your-mouth ham
  • Handmade pasta – Especially the iconic tortelli and anolini
  • Local wines – A perfect pairing for every dish

Beyond the food, Parma’s streets are filled with artistic and architectural wonders. From the breathtaking Cathedral of Parma and its frescoed dome to the elegant Teatro Regio, a visit here is a feast for the senses.

Join Me in Parma!

If you’ve never been to Mercanteinfiera, this is your invitation to discover something truly special. Whether you’re a serious collector, an interior designer searching for unique pieces, or just someone who loves beautiful objects with a story to tell, this fair is an experience like no other.

Stay tuned as I share my finds, experiences, and insider tips from the show. And if you’ll be in Parma for Mercanteinfiera, let’s connect—I’d love to explore this incredible event with fellow antique lovers!
