If you haven’t heard, the rumor is true! Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) is opening its doors to the public starting this Monday, Oct 1st.
So why is this a big deal? Well, for the first time in over 50 years, consumers will have a chance to freely walk the halls of 550,000 square foot interior design product showroom facility and get a taste of a designer’s day-to-day routine. Be sure to wear your comfortable shoes for this one![hr]
Just to give you an indication of the buzz this has become, I overheard a group of ladies from a gardening volunteer group chatting about it while watering the lawns yesterday morning.
“Open to the public, really? Is this just for one day only?”
No, I think this is a permanent change![hr]
As an informed designer [ahem], I felt it was my duty to bring them up to speed on the happenings at ADAC and personally invite them to the design community’s most happening spot in Atlanta.
For the next two weeks, ADAC is celebrating this monumental occasion with a series of events and seminars designed to showcase the benefits of working with a design professional, as well as display the extraordinary products in the numerous showrooms. Download the brochure below for a complete list of events. Click here to register.
