Welcome back, welcome back, wel-come baaaack!!! Today marks my official first day back at work after a nice two week break. The first week was rough due to the kids bringing home colds from school, poor Cameron even had to make a trip to the emergency room for dehydration. How scary for a parent (and of course the little guy.) So grateful he’s back to his active self and going stronger than ever.
Our Christmas holidays were nothing short of magical followed by a New Year’s reunion celebration with friends who are more like family. Read more about that in my Facebook post here.
I also completed a dining room from my Broughton Circle project. Remember the one from the vintage posters blog post I wrote back in October? Well here’s a sneak peek. I’ll post a full before and after spread later this week.
Last night we had our final hurrah at the Global Winter Wonderland here in downtown Atlanta. An glorious lighting display of some of the most historical landmarks from around the world turned the parking lot of Turner Field into another world.
We’re obviously missing a little one in the photos above. He kindly declined to be photographed that night.
The international tent housed foods from across the globe as well as a performance by Chinese acrobats! After the show the kids enjoyed carnival rides, games, and lots of fair treats like cotton candy and funnel cakes. This was the best time we’ve had as a family in a long while. We are going to do much better this year!
Now that I’m back in full swing, I’m looking forward to a few upcoming projects in the works, scouting new vendors at The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market this week, and participating in the American Craft Council Atlanta Show (more on that later).
I could be more excited about the content I’ll be providing on the blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram! Yes, that’s a full plate but you guys are everywhere and active with me on every single social media site! I’m truly thankful for your kindness, interest in my work, and getting peeks into my family life.
As always you can contact me by email or simply clicking the contact button and submitting a form. I look forward to working with you and providing you with a blu-print for a life well-designed!
