I’m starting to feel like Main Street is quickly becoming one of my favorite residences and for good reason. Each time this client calls me I know we are going all in with pattern and color. However, I often find myself pulling her reigns in a little to make sure that the overall design isn’t too trendy.
It’s important to live with what you love, but keep in mind that your investment should be bold, classic and yet withstand the test of time.
Let me explain. The dining chairs selected are Louis XVI style which have been around for ages. However, I’ve updated them with a funky geometric, Zebra Geo from Robert Allen Design. The two host chairs will be fully upholstered. The six side chairs will boast the feature fabric only on the back.
For the dining table I went with the iconic Parsons Rectangle Table with polished steel legs and quartz top from Mitchell Gold Bob Williams. I can’t get over the combination of the stone top and the sparking table legs. This table is another piece of furniture that will never lose it’s appeal.
The next two elements lighting and drapery never fail to catapult a room into greatness. This Murano-style glass chandelier features a combination of both clear and amber glass that act as a work of art as well as a enchanting lighting source!
And the wild card…custom drapery panels in this vibrant, marbleized fabric by Dwell Studio for Robert Allen Design. It’s currently on backorder, but is well worth the wait!
So here’s the full plan with all of the selections shown together.
I’ve even gave the client two options to select from.
