It’s hard to believe that two years have passed since I first designed our under-deck patio with the Home Depot. We’ve since enjoyed countless hours of fun with friends and family—in good and bad weather might I add. The key to spending more time outdoors this spring is to include all the creature comforts of indoor living. Comfortable furniture, accent tables and stools, soft (outdoor) rug, and outdoor curtains all help to transform a concrete slab into an outdoor room ready for entertainment. 

This year the Home Depot challenged us to add greenery to our space! We spent a long afternoon planting trees, potting flowers, refreshing the mulch, and of course rearranging the furniture.
