[dropcap]M[/dropcap]y latest ideabook on houzz.com is an eye-opening interview with photostylist/producer Annette Joseph. After witnessing her style a room from scratch at a mock photoshoot, I became intrigued with the art of photostyling and had to learn more about the craft.
Annette’s job is to help you envision yourself living in the space, enjoying it with your family, and highlight the products or physical attribute of the room, much like fashion stylists helps a person look their best in photos.

As an interior designer, photostyling is just as important to me. Working with a stylist can help me to communicate to a potential client, via my portfolio, comfort, function, and great design without them having to physically visit the space.
Designers, stylists, and photographers work hand in hand to tell a story and evoke feelings through interior photography.
