Happy New Year Friends!
Let me first start by thanking your for your support in 2012. You’ve been there to celebrate with me all the great things that have happened in my life both personally and professionally. I swear 2012 made my head spin.
For those who don’t know, I spent most of 2012 pregnant with our 4th child and working harder than ever. Literally, I installed my last design job the day before I gave birth. I don’t mention this to be braggadocios, I just surprised myself.
For once in my life, I took the limits off of what I could do. I stopped telling myself why something wouldn’t work and instead I programmed my mind to be solution-based. Every problem I encountered this year opened up an opportunity for me to learn and become better. This way of thinking allowed me (and allows you) to be victorious in every outcome.
If you’ve followed my blog long enough you know that I am woman of FAITH and believe that through God all things are possible. I took a moment to look back over the year starting with this post entitled, “In 2012, Promise Me.” In that post, I recounted my story from the very beginning only to emphasize the overall of theme of never giving up on your hopes and your dreams.
This year I’ve got some SUPER ambitious goals I will share in the upcoming weeks. What I’ve learned to be true is that in order to grow, you sometimes have to get others involved who also believe in your vision. I’ve been pretty much a one-woman show up until now but this year I will be collaborating with some brilliant individuals in the interior design field and various lifestyle brands.
For those who have been with me from the beginning, I know who you are and appreciate you more than you know! Those of you who I’ve met recently via in person, on twitter, facebook, instagram, or pinterest I look forward to getting to know you this year and establishing lasting relationships.
Thank you for supporting BluLabel Bungalow. It’s so much more than my life of design. BluLabel Bungalow is about designing life!
Cheers to you!
