Erika Ward Interiors improves on perfection with custom two story window treatments.

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hat can I say? Designing two story window treatments is one of my favorite things to do and was my first assignment in this breathtaking 8000 sq ft just outside of Atlanta. The family has thoroughly enjoyed decorating each room on their own, but hit a wall when it came to finding window treatment options.

Like most people who purchase homes with soaring windows, they soon realized that there is NOTHING in the retail market that will fit a 18-foot window.

Two Story Window Treatments for Arched Windows

A bay of arched windows provides this great room with an amazing view of the sprawling backyard and is a wonderful source of natural sunlight. The homeowners wanted to preserve the openness provided by the ten windows, but felt a little naked.

I couldn’t agree more.

This space called for free flowing linen panels that could filter the sunlight and also provide some weight against the heavy moldings. Lo and behold:

My team installed 18 medallions to hang these elegant sheer-lined draperies.  See how beautifully they puddle on the floor? C’est magnifique!
