Thanks to everyone for their kind comments on my master bedroom makeover! In the evenings I love settling into a room layered with warm neutral hues especially because I spend my day immersed in color.

However, during the final stages of the design process is when I decided to punch up the room with color. Since we are both longing for spring, the color green was our first consideration as an accent. But when I pulled the blue ikat and the chevron printed fabrics from my stash, blue became the color we could both agree on.

I love the addition of color and pattern to the bedding mix, but I still wanted more interest in the room. I instantly thought about the colored glass lamps I read about on the Lamps Plus website. Available in a whopping 60 hues, I knew I would be able to find my shade of blue.

Regatta Blue was a winner and just what this room needed, don’t you think? Check out the two photos below and consider the difference.

After quickly attaching the shade I snapped a photo and posted it on instagram to get your thoughts, remember? You loved its rich color and high gloss finish!LAMPS_PLUS_COLOR_COLLECTION_2

I’ve been following the latest trends and product releases at High Point Market this week and decided to pair my favorite images with my picks from Lamps Plus Color Plus Collection.

Below, a classic pairing of navy and white would go beyond traditional when introduced to a lime green table lamp like this Color Plus lamp in Lime Rickey.

How about breaking away from lamps in metal finishes and explore something unapologetically feminine like this one in Verve Violet.LAMPS_PLUS_COLOR_COLLECTION_3
