A couple of months ago I finally kicked my blackberry to the curb and upgraded to a Samsung Epic 4G.
A whole new world…
Where have you been all my life???
My new Android smartphone has brought much joy and efficiency to my life. Now with the brand new
Sherwin Williams ColorSnap App (available for iphone and android), I’m wondering if life could get any better. Did I mention that the app is free? Wheeee…*spinning around in circles*
SCREENSHOTS:
According the Android Market website, with this app you should be able to:
- Bring the magic of the STIR magazine experience to life on your tablet device.
- View stunning, interactive photo slideshows.
- Read interviews with colorful design personalities and detailed project features.
- Watch exclusive videos, including behind-the-scenes project videos and interviews with popular Color Spy personalities.
- Tap to explore color by family, access RGB values and LRV numbers, and get product specs. (this is the most attractive feature to me!)
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
Here’s a post on Williams Sonoma’s Designer Marketplace blog with more apps for designer and do-it-yourselfers. I’ve downloaded and enjoy most of these, too.
Which design apps have you found most useful?

Traffic Stop is the most helpful app. It's a goldmine for those of us who commute during rush hour traffic. It give info on accidents, congestion, and estimated time. I am thinking about ditching BlackBerry too.
thanks for the tip, just downloaded this app, because of this article!
