Bedding Styled by Erika Ward for Pine Cone HillCheers to the weekend, Friends! It’s Friday and I’ve got some great news to share. Luxury bedding retailer Pine Cone Hill invited me to celebrate their 20th Anniversary by styling a bedding collection for their “Great in Bed for Twenty Years” campaign.

Made you giggle too, didn’t it?

Yesterday, they featured my top picks along with a little Q&A session on their Fresh American blog!

Bedding Styled by Erika Ward for Pine Cone HillI was pretty excited with how it all came together. Pine Cone Hill’s Spring 2014 collection is full of versatile pieces that can be layered together or seamlessly integrated into your existing bedding. There’s so much to offer in regards to texture, pattern, and color. Clean, classic, with a twist of boho!

The jumping off point for the design came from #2 The Aran Throw. It’s an Indian-inspired mix of bright pinks, blues, greens, and oranges on Pine Cone Hill’s signature cotton blanket. Use this blanket to keep you warm on chilly nights or simply to style your own bedding collection or favorite armchair.

I’m giving away one of these Aran Throws to two lucky readers! After all, it’s spring time and I love to decorating in the same colors I wear, don’t you? Coral looks great on anyone especially when combined with a neutral base, think linen, gray, and crisp white. There are two easy ways to enter. See below! Good Luck!

  • With these fun colors, I would use this in the transition area from inside the house to the outdoor sitting area on the patio. Southern California gets a cool breeze off the ocean at night that would make a beautiful throw ideal!

Beautiful throw and I know just the place for it! I am very slowly, but surely collecting items for my 7 year old daughter’s big girl room (okay, I know she’s a bit old for that but she still has her Ikea youth bed and it’s time to move on up).

The colors my daughter have requested are: orange (her fave), purple (the color of her fave fruit), and gold (because jewelry is gold). I can visualize Pine Cone Hill’s Aran throw laying at the foot of my daughter’s new full sized bed (that is once we get it). As a budding artist who loves lots of color and prints, I know she’d love it!

    Thank you!
