As the Founder and Principal Designer of Erika Ward Interiors, I’m completely vested in every single project we take on. Though I work for myself, I also work in a partnership with you, my client, to turn interior spaces into beautiful homes. I’ve been so fortunate to collaborate with such courteous homeowners and can honestly say I’m working in my dream job. My work has been featured in numerous local and national publications and I’ve been awarded by the Atlanta Tribune for having one of the top design firms for two consecutive years.
I began my career as an accountant managing multi-million dollar construction budgets for an internationally known design-build firm. Having a client-focused perspective is nothing new to me. The commercial client is much like the residential client when it comes down to what matters most to them—quality products and workmanship as well as personal accountability when it comes to spending their money. In 2006, while still working in a corporate setting, I bravely started Erika Ward Interiors to satisfy my creative side and brought my business acumen and professionalism to the residential market. After three years of performing this balancing act I decided to fully commit to building Erika Ward Interiors and never looked back.
My business background has served both me and my clients very well. With a degree in Finance and coursework in both Real Estate and Interior Design I’ve managed to build trust with my clients and cultivate a spirit of service as I work alongside other design colleagues, contractors, vendors and manufacturers. In an extension of my design business, I also work closely with retail brands such as Home Depot, Home Decorators Collection, S.C. Johnson, and Big Lots (to name a few) as a spokesperson and brand ambassador in targeted consumer campaigns.
However, my proudest roles are as a wife to my husband, Chris, and a mother to our five children, Evan, Ava, Dallas, Cameron, and Brooke.
