Last Thursday night, The Urban Electric Co. and the Atlanta design community gathered to meet New York based interior designer, Amanda Nisbet, and to view her new lighting collection.
Amanda is best known for her fearless use of bold color which she has also interpreted in sconces, lanterns, pendants, overhead lights, and lamps.

Events like these are a welcomed interruption in the work week. Not only do you get a chance to meet your favorite designers, but to also connect with like minds.

I could not end the evening without taking a picture with Amanda. A great conversationalist, she welcomed any questions I had about her work and shared with me her love of the South. Though she’s a native of Montreal, she’s married to a Southerner and it shows beautifully in her personality.
